Between five and seven the freeway backs up from the 10 interchange and stays that way past the Sepulveda exits. Washington is slow in its own way once you are on it: a light every block, and whatever is double-parked and unloading in front of the post houses. Late, after the lots let out, the same 21 miles come in well under the usual 35.

How does the handoff work at a gated building here?
Put the gate code and the unit in the order notes. The Fox Hills towers have a callbox at the driveway and a garage gate no driver can tailgate through, so meeting the car at the lobby door is quickest. In the low-rise blocks near the Ballona Creek path, a porch light and a phone number is enough.
Can you deliver to a studio lot or an office in the Hayden Tract?
Yes, with one caveat: a drive-on pass at Sony Pictures Studios has to come from your side, so it is faster to meet the driver at the Washington Boulevard gate. Hayden Tract offices in converted warehouses often have no obvious street door, so a suite number and a mobile in the notes saves everyone ten minutes.
