Yes, we deliver to Downtown LA, and the zone covers all seven ZIPs: 90012, 90013, 90014, 90015, 90017, 90021 and 90071. Little Tokyo apartments, Historic Core lofts, South Park high-rises, Arts District warehouses, the Bunker Hill offices. Lobby desk, loading dock or a fourteenth-floor conference room, it is the same run.

Most Downtown orders are small and late. Two or three pounds of crawfish for a couple of roommates in a Historic Core loft, corn and a jar of chickpeas in the same bag, eaten standing at the counter. Sundays run bigger: a South Park high-rise with family over adds crab legs alongside. And 90071 buys for the floor rather than the person, so those go out midday on a weekday.

ZIP codes we deliver to in Downtown LA

The run is I-5 south out of Sun Valley, about 17 miles, and a typical drive is around half an hour. The freeway is the simple half. Spring and Main run one way in opposite directions, so a missed turn in the Historic Core costs a full block, and the Bunker Hill towers are usually entered from a garage ramp a level below the street in the address. Leave a gate code or a buzzer number and the driver comes up to you.

Every tray is sealed at the pot and rides out in an insulated carrier, so the drive costs the boil as little heat as it can.

Your boil, your call

Pick a heat level, from No Heat to LA Inferno. Then salt: light, regular or extra. Every item on the menu is finished the way you asked, not the way the pot ran that night.

Downtown eats late. Shifts end, the kitchens close, and dinner starts at ten. A boil suits the buildings here: no plates to speak of, the table cover thrown over a loft table, everything tipped into the middle. On a game night the streets around Crypto.com Arena tighten up hours ahead, so South Park orders are worth placing early. And 90071 is mostly office towers, which makes those weekday runs.

What we boil

Every order ships with gloves, crab crackers, scissors, a table cover and a shrimp deveiner.

Questions people from Downtown LA ask

How does paying and the handoff work in a Downtown high-rise?

You pay on the site when you place the order, so nothing is settled at the door. Put your floor and the call-box code in the notes and say whether the driver hands it to the desk in a Historic Core lobby or rides up. There is no tip line in checkout, so cash if you want to.

Do you sell crawfish live and raw, and will a loft kitchen here handle the pot?

Yes. We sell them live and raw for your own pot whenever the tank has them. Then look at your stove: an Arts District warehouse conversion usually has room for a 20-quart pot, a two-burner kitchenette in a Historic Core building does not. Call (747) 488-9441 and ask what came in today.

How do I reheat a boil the next day, and how long does it keep?

Steam it, do not microwave it. Tip the leftovers into a pan with a splash of water, lid on, five minutes over low heat, and the butter comes back. The trick after a late Historic Core dinner is getting the tray into the fridge within two hours instead of at 2 a.m. Eat it inside two days.
